Acid Peel

Stand Alone Peels (40% Lactic)

A 40% lactic acid peel can help to even out skin tone, reduce the appearance of fine lines, brighten your skin, improve the texture, and enhance the hydration. It also helps with acne by removing dead cells, unclogging pores and stimulating collagen. Lactic acid is not as harsh as other acids whilst still being very effective.

These peels are great when combined in a treatment plan with IPL or Alex treatments to break down pigmentation, melasma, and sun damage in the layers. If you are wanting a freshen up, this peel is for you.

Please note, some clients can experience some mild peeling with this treatment. We recommend adding on the LED light therapy option and the tissue mask to get the most out of this treatment.

Acne Treatment (20% Salicylic)

Salicylic acid penetrates pores to dissolve oil and dead skin cells, helping clear blackheads, whiteheads, and reduce breakouts. It regulates sebum, managing oily skin and excess shine. This peel also helps with skin texture, its exfoliating action removes dead cells for smoother, brighter, and more even skin tone.

Salicylic acid reduce acne scarring by boosting cell turnover, it helps fade superficial acne scars and enhances overall skin appearance. At Skin Spa we would never preform this treatment as a first appointment as this is a stronger peel and can cause irritation when the skin has not been prepped for it.
